Treasurer’s Report:

Current account balance is $12,293.51

League Minutes from September 5th meeting:  Frank Storey

• A speaker from St. Luke’s Sports Medicine Center made a presentation on concussions/head injuries.  The League is considering having a trainer present at all games in the future.
• Budget was not determined as the teams have not been finalized yet.
• A new League website, administered by Pointstreak.com, will replace the old lvshl.org website.  The new website will offer a wide range of capabilities to each team as well as the league.  As of now, paper score sheets will continue to be used. 
• At the Youth level 8 teams will participate.  Each team will have 14 games.   At the Middle School level there are six teams, with each playing 16 games.

Old Business:

• The heat press machine has been picked up.  EIHC will now be able print our own jerseys.  Any profits from in-house printing will be donated back to the Club.
• The Pure Hockey gift card in the amount of $2,000 has been received.  It will be used to purchase equipment/supplies as needed.
• We will not pursue online registrations through Active.com, as the new Pointstreak site will offer the same capability at no additional cost.

New Business:

• Varsity practice begins on Friday, September 14^th at the Lehigh Valley rink.  The Varsity schedule can be found on the club website calendar.
• The Varsity draft will take place on Sunday, September 16.  After the draft all Varsity teams will be final.  There are no additions after the draft.
• The practice schedule at Beth Muni should be finalized any day.  Easton is penciled in for Tuesday (M/S & Youth)/Wednesday (Varsity) evenings. To date these time slots have not been confirmed.
• Buffalo Wild Wings fundraiser will be held on Wednesday, September 19th.  The club will earn 10% of the profits of the evening for all patrons presenting the BWW Coupon.  Each family has been emailed a coupon to print and share with friends and neighbors.
• EIHC will have a booth at the Palmer Nursery Oktoberfest on October 13^th.  Volunteers are needed to be present during the event and help with the puck shooting game. Donations of prizes are also needed.  Thanks to Tara Rizzolino (Blake Petrasek’s mom) for this opportunity.  Tara can be reached at livyandblake@yahoo.com.

The next meeting will be on Wednesday, October 10 at 7:00pm at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church.
