EIHC Player/Parent Rules
EIHC Parent/Player Contract
The following are the policies of the EIHC. It is expected that all players and parents abide by these policies as well as the policies of USA Hockey. Violation of these policies may result in disciplinary action.
- The policies of EIHC and USA Hockey will be enforced by the coaches, managers and the executive board. Before disciplinary action takes effect the player and parent will be advised of the violation in writing (or email). The violation will be reviewed by a disciplinary board consisting of the coaches, managers, and executive board. The parents and players involved may appear in front of the disciplinary board during its review. All decisions of the disciplinary board will be final.
- All fees will be paid in a timely manner in accordance with the payment schedule determined prior to the start of the season. Payment extensions will be made by a case by case basis with prior approval of the executive board. All requests will be treated confidentially. Failure to meet the payment schedule will result in suspension or dismissal.
- Players will be expected to attend all games and practices. Players will arrive at games and practices in a timely manner and shall be dressed and ready to go ten (10) minutes prior to start time. If you cannot attend a game or practice the head coach needs to be contacted 24 hours in advance unless it is an emergency. If you will be late to a game or practice, contact a coach as soon as possible. Repeated unexcused absences or tardiness will result in disciplinary action.
- Only EIHC jerseys and socks will be worn for games. Wearing unauthorized uniforms without prior approval will result in disciplinary action.
