Treasurer’s Report:
$3,900 still due from travel players.
League Minutes: February 2, 2013
Old Business:
- Travel player fees:
Travel players will be billed from 12/15 through end of season for all ice time (practices and games) where not obligated to travel team commitments.
- Banquet fees and details
Banquet will be held on Sunday, March 24, at the Greenpond Country Club. Prices are as follows: $20/adults; $10/children; $5/players.
- Trophies
Trophies will be given the same as last year.
- Iron Pigs Game
An email will be sent to all club members inviting them to the Iron Pigs Hockey Night on Sunday, April 21. Youth hockey teams from the Lehigh Valley will be recognized before the game. A group rate is being offered, and all interested should contact Jeff Fretz.
- Alumni Game
Jeff is trying to secure Sunday, April 7th as the date for this annual event. Raffle tickets will be sent out shortly. All players are encouraged to sell all tickets. This is EIHC largest fundraiser, and everyone seems to have a great time at this event.
New Business
- Discussed whether or not travel player fees will be discounted in the future years.
- Club registration may be set up using Pointstreak, since the only additional fee will be a credit card processing fee. Considering setting up a four payment plan, based on 2012-13 fees, with a disclaimer that an additional 5th payment may be charged to cover any increase in season fees.
- Discussed the amount of ice time Varsity for practices, and the few players that attend these practices. Will look into a more efficient way to use this ice time to benefit other EIHC teams as well.
Meeting time for March is changed to Wednesday, March 20th at 7:00pm
