  • There are approximately 150 people attending the March 16th banquet.  Due to lingering snow, the facility was not able to set up the outdoor tent, so we will be inside the building,

New Business

  • Registration (online) for the 2014-15 hockey season opens on April 15th.  A $150 deposit is required at registration.  The deadline for registering is September 15, after which a $50 late charge will apply.  Payment options will include making a onetime payment in full; 5 scheduled automatic payment deductions, or the cash/check option.
  • The Annual Alumni Game is scheduled for Sunday, March 30, at Steel Ice, from 2:00pm – 4:30pm.  This is the Club’s biggest fundraiser, as well as being a fun event for all players, past and present.  Some important items:
  1. Please let Jeff Fretz know ASAP if you/your child will be participating in the Alumni Day games.  (fretz007@aol.com)
  2. All Raffle Ticket $ must be in by Saturday, March 22.  All players are encouraged to sell all 10 tickets.  A return envelope has been provided. Please return all unsold tickets in the envelope provided.
  3. Additional Raffle prizes are still welcomed.  Donations of items, gift baskets, and gift cards/certificates are greatly appreciated.
  4. Volunteers are needed to host the EIHC table (selling raffle tickets/magnets, etc.)  Shifts are 2:00 – 2:45; 2:45 – 3:30; and 3:30 – 4:30.  Please let me know if you are available to fill a shift (jascward@gmail.com)
  • Ideas for recruiting new players, especially at the Youth level were discussed.  In addition to what is currently being done, new possibilities included flyers to schools, an end of the summer picnic at a local park promoting the Club, posting flyers at local businesses, participating in elementary school activity fairs in Fall.  All new ideas are welcome.
  • Still trying to locate David Fenstermacher to deliver online sportswear order from December.

Meeting adjourned at 7:45 pm.                                   Next meeting is April 9, 2014
